Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist (5-axis)

United CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist (5 Axis).

We are looking for a healthy, non-smoking, drug free, hard-working and happy person who wants to excel in the best environment with a dynamic team! Pay range is $25-35 per hour depending upon experience.

Required Experience:
  • Must have experience programming with Mastercam
  • Must be familiar with G and M code
  • 5-axis experience a plus
  • Will be required to program, setup, and operate Hurco, OKK, and Doosan 3 and 5-axis machining centers
  • Prototype machining experience required
  • Must be able to read 2D prints and manipulate 3D models
  • Must know GD&T
  • 5 years minimum experience

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant engineering and/or five years of Process Engineering experience required
  • Machining experience is a plus
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Mastercam or other computer-aided drafting tool
  • Experience within the Aerospace industry a plus
United CNC Machining is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

General Summary of Duties: Responsible for inspecting: 1st piece, in-process and final inspection. Utilizing hand tools for bench checks along with Hexagon PCDMIS CMMs and FARO Laser Arm to obtain inspection results.

  • Program and Operate CMMs with PC-DMIS measurement software
  • Knowledge of FARO Laser Arm with PolyWorks software a plus.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to, 1st piece inspection, in-process and final inspection of complex machined parts
  • General inspection with hand measurement tools such as micro heights, micrometers, calipers, gage pins, gage blocks and thread gages.
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings to specification, including detail and sectional views.

Minimum Qualification:

  • 2 to 4 year college degree or formal technical training
  • Aerospace experience a plus
  • Knowledge of PC-DMIS a must.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Must have experience with complex machined components
  • Knowledge of manual inspection techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and work with CAD models

Position Overview

The Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. This role ensures strong internal controls, supports operational efficiency, and delivers essential reporting for leadership. The Controller will play a hands-on role in managing accounting processes, cost tracking, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close procedures
  • Maintain job costing records and provide visibility into cost performance at the job and customer level
  • Manage inventory accounting and collaborate with production to maintain accuracy in inventory tracking and valuation
  • Reconcile bank and credit accounts; monitor cash activity
  • Prepare internal financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and company standards
  • Assist with audits, tax preparation, and communication with external accountants
  • Supervise accounting staff and support their day-to-day work
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of job costing and inventory accounting
  • Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, JobBOSS, Global Shop, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other basic reporting tools
